The Town

By visiting Kitzbühel you enjoy walks in the cobbled streets, boutique shops, and gourmet restaurants. In the town you can taste both traditional local dishes and international cuisine prepared by elite chefs. Thirteen restaurants have been awarded by Gault Millau toques or by other international awards. In Kitzbühel you can visit various galleries and exhibitions, museums as well as a cinema. Activities

Kitzbühel offers a perfect infrastructure for sport activities all year round. In Kitzbühel you can enjoy skiing on 230km of well-prepared slopes from the middle of October until the beginning of May. The skiers have a wide selection of pistes suiting all levels. For those who rather enjoy cross-country skiing, 70km of perfectly prepared trails of all levels awaits you. The mountains around Kitzbühel are also a perfect spot for freeriders. Among the other winter favourite activities are winter hiking,  ice hockey, tobogganing and curling.

In summer, there are several great experiences in the mountains of Kitzbühel. Besides hinking in the wonderful nature, you can also enjoy swimming in the lakes, stand up paddle boarding, climbing, tennis, riding horses, golf, cycling, canyoning and rafting.
